Tomb of Sikandar Lodi

The tomb is situated in Lodi Garden.

Sikander Lodi became the Sultan upon the death of his father, Bahlul Khan Lodi in 1489.

He started the use of Persian as the official language for the accountancy in India.

He tried to conquer the Gwalior Fort and attacked it 5 times. However he failed everytime.
