Bhaoli at Hindu rao house

Near the Pir Gharib, the double-storeyed structure built by Feroz Shah Tughlaq as one of his hunting lodges, lies the Baoli.

The Bara Hindu Rao hospital stands as an extension to the original building of the Hindu Rao house, which was originally built by William Fraser in the 19th Century as his bungalow.

The Baoli was the source of fresh water for the British forces during the 1857 first war of independence.
